Why this tool exists

Get the answer without turning it into a project.

Useful for README files, documentation and issue templates. The preview is generated locally from a deliberately small Markdown subset.

Common questions

Is this a full CommonMark implementation?

No. The lightweight preview handles common headings, emphasis, inline code, fenced code, lists, links and paragraphs.

Is raw HTML executed?

No. Input is escaped before Markdown styling is applied, so pasted HTML is displayed safely rather than executed.
